Hayes is a true NICU warrior

Saturday November 18th, Braxten's blood pressure increased so high that an emergency c-section was eminent. 15 minutes later he entered the world at only 3 pounds 1 ounce and skipped his mothers arms and went straight to the NICU.

Braxten was being treated for another 24 hours before she was able to hold him for the first time.

Hayes has been in the NICU for only 11 days but he is breathing on his own, and even maintaining his own body temperature. His final objective will be learning to suck, nurse or bottle feed as well as keep his food down. His reflux is a common occurrence.

He loves sleeping on his belly and having skin to skin with his mommy. He's the cutest little nicu baby I have haver seen!
