Your little one's first birthday is a very special milestone, and so is their first taste of sugar! So, obviously I offer the trendy one year milestone session called "cake smash photography." All of these sessions take place in my studio here in Southern Utah, specifically in Leeds, Utah.

Daniel was a little over one year old when he came into my studio for his birthday cake smash. I would describe his cake-smashing as very dainty and intricate. He was a tad bit shy, but definitely left my studio with a sugar high!

When planning your cake smash session, try to schedule ahead so we have plenty of time to work with.

Planning a photo session is kind of like planning a mini party. The decorations have to be made or ordered, the cake has to be ordered and designed, plus your child's outfit!

I provide your baby's cake, the balloons and pom-poms and I have basic outfits for any baby to wear, though most parents bring them in a specific outfit for their birthday.

I love how yummy my studio smells during a cake smash!
